The Apex Modular Handguard System accommodates a wide variety of accessories with this optional rail, which runs nearly the full length of the tubular portion of the rifle length handguard. Rail dimensions conform to MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail specifications. Rail securely mounts to handguard using flush mounted flat head screws. Top of rail sets slightly higher than most flat top receivers to prevent the bridging of handguard and receiver with improperly positioned optics.
